Mange-Moi were the winner of the Best Poutine voted by the public. Their burger for Le Burger Week was quite impressive when I photographed it in September. The poutine looked quite simple. It’s beer braised beef over fries and local cheese curds, covered with the house and topped with tomatoes and green onions. The acidity of the tomato went well with the richness of the beef. The portion is average and even if it looks small, it quickly fills you up. It always feel reassuring to see vegetables or fruits in a poutine. It gives it a slightly healthier aspect.
At the cost of $11, for those who like a classic poutine with healthier ingredients.
